Activities
We focus on small, practical cultural activities that are easy to join and easy to support. Below are the typical formats we use (adapted depending on partners, venue availability, and funding).
Community folk meetups
Informal gatherings where people can listen, learn, and share traditional songs and tunes.
Goal: build a friendly local network.
Small concerts & showcases
Low-barrier performances with local artists and community participants.
Goal: give space for talent and tradition.
Workshops
Beginner-friendly learning sessions (music, dance, or cultural crafts) run with volunteers or partners.
Goal: learning through doing.
Partnership events
Joint activities with other organisations, schools, or venues in Pärnu and surrounding areas.
Goal: stronger community collaboration.
How we plan activities
- Define a clear purpose and target audience.
- Choose an accessible location and time.
- Keep entry requirements simple (free/low cost when possible).
- Communicate clearly: what it is, who it’s for, how to join.
